New vessels

The 12th of October 2009, Rederiet Stenersen AS took delivery of MT Sten Skagen in Shanghai. The vessel has much of the same features as the Idun-class vessels (16.600 dwt) but is approximate 2.000 dwt bigger (18.550 dwt). This is the 18th vessel Rederiet Stenersen receives from the Jiangnan Shipyard. The sister vessel to MT Sten Skagen, which is ready for delivery beginning 2010, will be the end of this newbuilding program of totally 19 vessels from Jiangnan Shipyard. Both vessels will enter a long term charter contract with AP Moller Maersk during 1st half 2010.
